I was here twice within 2 weeks for the same reason - my birthday celebration. It was my birthday on the 24th of Feb, my friends Wilee and Andrew brought me here for a simple dinner and then I later came here again in early March with my high school friend, Elene. Andrew told us about his experience in Korea and said that this Korean BBQ restaurant was one of the more decent Korean BBQ restaurant in Seoul that comes with affordable price tag.

I am a fan of BBQ food. BBQ cockles, BBQ chicken, BBQ lamb or anything else BBQ-ed usually work for me. Another alternative to BBQ will be pan-fried food if BBQ-ing is not possible. Thing I love most about Korean food is their BBQ/pan fried lamb/beef wrap with vege.

Korean food restaurant usually offers BBQ meat but what makes Palsaik different is that, their pork were marinated with different flavor and they were fresh pork without awful smell. Here we ordered a set for 3-4 persons. A 3-4 persons set might look huge but they are just nice for 3 persons with normal appetite.

The mushrooms and kimchi you see here were meant to be wrapped together with the pork with fresh vege leaves.

On the pan lies 4 different flavored pork.

Different types of veges were prepared. I love the minty leave (the one with spiky border) the most as they add a little minty flavor to the marinated pork.

This seafood kimchi soup comes together with the set. Soup turns sweet with a tinge of spiciness when it boils.

Set for 3-4 persons, RM112.

I think the price charged was fair because a normal BBQ beef/lamb in other Korean restaurant would easily cost RM50 and above and they do not offer as much variety of flavor as that of Palsaik. On top of that, seafood kimchi soup is also included in the set together with a variety of fresh vege which could be refilled. Also, don't forget the mushrooms and kimchi as well as other condiments that come together with the set!

Palsaik is located on the second floor of Mont Kiara Solaris. Look for Haagen Daz when you arrived and go up the escalator infront of the shop, and then turn right until you see a shop with a piggy neon sign like in the above picture. This place is more crowded and brighter compare to other restaurants and bars in the same row so it wasn't too hard to identify.
