Of 2012. No It's Not a New Year Resolution Post!

It's another whole new year!

A lot of people have been asking me about my new year resolutions. I know right, some people have a list of things they wanted to achieve but most of the time they didn't make it. But I did came across friends who managed to achieve 99% of what they have listed. Talking about myself, I do have targets that I want to achieve. I am proud to say that most of the time I did achieved what I wished for. It's not a brag, you can do it if what you've set are practical targets. For example like mine,  I always wanted to be wiser than the past one year (So I read a lot of self-help materials and learn from the experiences of others), I want to live my life more meaningfully and colorfully (So I visit places, try new things such as food, and meet new people), I want to be more financially independent (So I work harder to make more cash) etc. These are really simple and practical goals that each of us can achieve by taking baby steps. But if you already have a stable career/you run a business or you have a very precised target already, you can set a solid target like ie.I must make at least a nett profit of RM500,000 or more per year or this year I must be promoted to xxx position.

2012 has so far been quite fair to me.
First thing first, I have attended more events than I used to and met a lot of interesting people.

I couldn't remember when I first met Karen.
We became closed friends after a few times of seeing each other.

We spent the last Christmas together.

She is always around when I needed a friend to talk to.

Sometimes, we hangout to shop and eat!

Thank you love for being my companion and friend!

If you cannot remember who Danny is, here he is. He is now friends with Karen too!
He is a very very good friend of mine which I met during high school and we are already friends for 12 years!

We always explore places and good food together.

Danny is a super dog lover.
He has 3 dogs in total: a Beager, Poodle and a Pomeranian. I always think that her future girlf will be one really lucky babe because she gets to keep cute puppies! Not all men love dogs like he does you see? :(

The Schnauzer we met at one morning jog.
We always bring the dogs out for walks :)

For the first time in my life, I tried Botox.

I know I am a little too young for that. I tried it out of curiosity so that I know what suits me best when deep wrinkles started to form as I aged. I did it on my eyebags to make them appear less bulky. I Botoxed the crow feet at the corner of my eyes. I treated my jawline too to soften the muscles on my face. It has been about 3 months since I did it and all were good. Now my expression looks less stiffer than when I have just injected them. Now, I am very happy to see how smooth and line-free my skin is. I always wanted to get rid of my squarish jawline. Honestly, Botox cannot get rid of a squarish jawline (nothing beats an invasive surgery!) but by contracting the muscles around it, it did softened my look.

Look at my jawline. Can you see the difference?

And since then, I never stopped taking pictures of myself. *teehee!*

I love what Botox did to my jawline so much that I don't want them to go away :'(
I am pretty much aware that they will eventually be absorbed by my body but hey, who'd die with regret if they were once beautiful in their lives? Of course, never jeopardise your health. You don't want to pay for that expensive mistake!

I am turning 25 this year so it means metabolism is going down.

All that I am concerned with is my weight now which I never have to worry about it in the past few years. So this year, I have set a target to get my abs in place before my birthday this coming February because I will be in Sabah, which means bikini!

But no I don't want to be this skinny anymore =/

If you have no idea what I do beside blogging, I am actually a hand talent.

Commercial ads clients love my hands more than my face so I hardly get the chance to be on tvcs or prints :( But my hands do! They appeared in Celcom's website banner in 2010 and I will be seeing my hands somewhere in Maggie's print ad this year.

Talking about TVC.

This was the first TVC I did. It was for Big Apple Donut.

I am hoping for more in 2013 *fingers crossed*

Not only that I got to attend more events in 2012, I met more new faces in the bloggin industry too!

Kahmon a.k.a Bendan, Karen, Melissa, Jenn, Chanwon, Lumi in blue hair, Vicky and Doris in black dress.

Esther, Kelly, Lee Yvonne the Miss Malaysia 2010 and MeiSze the multi-talent.

Ashley the violist.

Couldn't forget her heart-melting performances.

Simon.

Joshua Ong.

Poh Huai Bin a.k.a sixthseal.com

tianchad.

I am a fan of Audrey Ooi a.k.a fourfeetnine.com!

From top left, Chelsea in red and Kelly.
Bottom Left, Stephanie Lim and Louise.

I met Steph in an unforgettable event, where we get to pillion ride on a Moto GP bike!

It was an unforgettable lifetime experience.
Also, I got to keep the helmet and gloves as souvenir!

It was signed especially for me making them the best doorgift of the year.

I have been to Sepang Circuit for a couple of times but never had the chance to walk along the pits.
Thanks to Marlboro and MHB, the experience was an unforgettable ones!

I can still remember how heavy and bulky the bike suit was. All of us walked like penguins in that suit and it was no fun being in it because it's really warm inside. Imagine the weather in Malaysia, you need to have the strength and perseverence to finish the entire race. It seems to be just a bike ride but I have muscles pain around my shoulder the very next day. I have all respects for the Moto GP riders after this.

I met this gorgeous guy in his 20 yrs old who thought I am his age!
Best compliment of the year I have gotten :P

Up till today, I still shiver everytime I see this picture because the speed was far more beyond my imagination. Prior to this, I have never imagined myself being carried in a vehicle at this speed. If my memory serves me well, the bike was flying at 280km/h *cray*

I wanted to vomit so badly after the ride and it took me few hours before recovery.

Povy.

Hasn't seen her for quite some time and I really missed her :'(

Kate was my roomie during WTP Carlsberg Where's the Party.

Wilee isn't my new friend, we have met many years ago before I joined the blogging industry and we are now partners in selling second hands clothing.

On top of all, I am very glad that I am still keeping my primary schoolmates. Long term frienships are not easy to nurture. All of us grow up and meet different people, time could have separated us but I am glad that God didn't separate us. Eventhough we do not see each other often, we always chat like we have just met yesterday during our meetups.

Jenny loves to travel. She always remembers me wherever she goes and comes back with souvenirs *touched*

Vivien and I have been friends since 7.
Up till now, she never failed to be with me whenever I need a listener.

I think the above were all about last year. It's going to be another better year I believe. Let the past be the past and together we shall move forward and live better than how we used to. As for myself, my BIGGEST mission this year will be to take better care of my skin so to prevent myself looking like I am 40 when I reach 30.

As I scrolled through my old pictures I realized I am no longer this cute.

Still, I refused to be defined by my age!

I can still carry cute postures I believe so :P
