Just noticed I have abandoned my blog for like soooooooo friggin long!
It took me like one whole month to adapt with my current lifestyle.
Never in my life I have been tied to working hours you see??
Imagine this - in the past, I can sleep in any time of the day, go to the bank for errands in afternoons without getting stucked in queue, get my shopping fixed at any hour of the day to now... I am living like majority of the populations!
Weekends used to be like any other day to me but now, they are so PRECIOUS and when they come all I wanted to do is S L E E P.
It was yesterday, I went for a dinner with my friend whom I have known for years after I ticked off from work at 6pm. He used to be a practicing lawyer but now he has 'freed' himself from so-called Life-in-Hell. No offence to all professional lawyers and lawyers wannabe out there. It was a joke among the students and lecturers during my days in ATC that studying law and becoming a lawyer is the most ridiculous thing in life.
We dined in Angus Star Hill and because it was so dark all pictures quality were unsatisfactory I only got one good shot.

I really enjoy having desserts but no thanks to cakes after meals. I would rather have something less 'bulky' like jellies. Especially cheesecake, the moment I look at them (especially after a complete meal with appetizer, salad, soup and main course) I'll go 'burp', unliterally.
But this one, it's different.
WHY?
You can see that the texture are rather light. And most importantly, instead of being too sweet, the purple color top tasted sourly sweet. It is a Raspberry cheesecake so it tastes Raspberry instead of tasting like artificially sweetened purple paste. If you get what I mean.
My friend told me that he wanted to have dinner with me on my birthday one month before my birthdate. I thought he was just saying because he has a crazy schedule and I do not expect him to really honor his words. I seriously thought he was just saying until he confirmed the date.
On that day, he prepared this-

It was so carefully wrapped where I don't see a single cellophane tape!
If it is me wrapping I am sure the whole wrapper will be taped by cellophane tapes.
Honestly, it aches my heart to tear the wrapper but still, I gotta do it! *tears
I love books with really inspiring contents.
We always talk about books so he knows what I would love reading.
I know I know, I don't look like a person who reads but not until you see my book collection :)
Tell you a silly little secret. Belle in Beauty and the Beast used to be one of my favorite Disney Character because I enjoyed reading as much as she does when I was a kid. Before pre-school, I never joined other kids for games and all I did was sitting quietly with my books (this amazed me). Mum was worried that I am an autist. But little did she know that I will grow up being rebellious and have never done well in school since after primary school.
Back to Belle, I always wish to have a library like the Beast's since when I was very young. And the wish still stays in my wishlist :)

After the savoring dinner, out of blue I decided to try this lip mask.
Cute right the packaging?
This is a product of The Face Shop but I am not sure whether it is already on shelves.
What tempted me to put this on immediately is the image of the doll on the wrapper.

The mask sheet were cut into lips shape, just how it was shown at the bottom right corner of the packaging.
The texture was jelly-ish instead of tissue-ish.
I never liked mask of tissue texture because I think tissue-liked mask tends to absorb the essence on the mask sheet more than our skin. Jelly-ish masks feel more comfortable on skins too.
I know you wanna know how it tasted.
Seriously I wanted to avoid the mask content from getting into my mouth so I didn't want to open my lips. But for picture purposes I have to so I get to taste a little bit of the content.
Just like a sinful relationship, it tastes bitterly sweet.
This product wouldn't do wonders to very chapped lips because the effect was rather mild. If your lips are sensitive to weather and air-conditioned room like I do, it can effectively helps soften the dead skins on your lips and moisturized them making them baby-soft.
I have forgotten to take picture immediately after removing the mask. If I do not post any post-using-the-product picture here this post isn't gonna be complete so...
Forgive me I know this is scary.
I scared myself each time I came across it too wtf
Look at the tiny pimple on my chin I didn't even removed that to show you the originality of this picture.
