Filler Injection, on Depressed Scars.

 

Hi!

 

I am sure you see the mark on my forehead, just right above my left eye brow.

It used to be a depressed scar but it is now flatened.



 

And this one mark on my left cheek used to be a mole that I have treated for a couple of times but still, it came back!

 

Before I start writing, I would like to share my personal view on Aesthetics.

 

Whenever I tell my friends, family or acquantaince that I have done Botox, CO2 laser and Filler, their common response were :" But you are so young, what if you stop doing..."

 

I am not good at explaining things so I usually avoid that question by answering them that I am just being curious or I laughed it off. I wasn't borned gorgeous, but it didn't stopped the boys from lovin me since I was a 5-year-old :P I did received compliments since I was a small kid thanks to my mixed looking feature. Not racist but mixed usually looks better than pure breed (lulz).

This was during 2000, I am sure now you can tell which is me.

I am always taller than my peeps (but never the tallest), so I am always in the middle of group pics. Even until now.

 

 

This was my fattest moment, that was about 1997-1998.

I swore to God I will never ever allow myself to live like that anymore!

 

It was during college time, I lost weight dramatically. Since then, I have never gained a lot of weights. If one day I can no longer stay this slim, I will make sure I still look my best.

 

 

This was taken in 2010 when I was modelling for Parkson's online Journal.

 

 

It was about 2011-2012, Tim Chew has recruited me as one of the Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers.

That was when I started attending events, parties and writing advertorials.

 

So now you can see that the aesthetician hasn't changed my features drastically. Since I was a small kid, I fancy beautiful things, ie. beautiful places, meticulously decorated food, beautiful dresses, beautiful songs etc. So, I want to wake up everyday looking at my best. I have never wanted to become the most gorgeous. For as long as I am happy with how I look, I am contented. If I see fats, I'll minus it with proper diet and sports. If the pimples on my face upset me, I will treat them. If I don't like the extra muscles on my face, I will find ways to get rid of them. I will just do whatever it takes to enhance my looks, as long as my life and health aren't being terribly jeopardised. Anyway, I don't believe the existence of any chemical products that are 100% okay for your health, eventhough many has claimed their products to be made of 100% natural ingredients. Those chemical components, you will never know how long they'll stay in your body before you feel the potential side effects.

The small chip on my forehead has followed me since 7.

 

It is a chicken pox scar. Honestly, it didn't really bother me until I started to believe in face reading- A scar or mark on a person's forehead affects his/her luck. So I always wished it was never there.

 

It was Xmas Eve, I received an early phone call from the aesthetic clinic I used to visit. They told me that I will be getting a filler injection for the scar on my forehead. I was really thrilled! This has become the biggest xmas gift for me in the year 2012.

 

 

I went there without applying any foundation so to prevent the treated areas from inflamation.

 

Only mascara and lipstick were applied. I have never felt this comfortable with taking pictures when I have zero make up on thanks to my pimple proned skin and very bad dark eye circles. But since when I started using their range of facial products, I feel more confident with my bare face.

Never know a lipstick can smell cocoa butter! I am always a fan of M.A.C lipstick because of their moisturizing and long-lasting feature.

 

 

Told the aesthetician I don't want anesthetic injection so he applied numbing cream on my scar and the mole on my cheek.

 

Remember during my last visit, I was being given shots of anesthetics. After that I went home feeling emo until the next day. You have no idea how much I hated needles! Everyone has to take BCG during younger days right? I never cried but usually after these injections I would went back to class feeling down until the next day.

 

Numbing cream works its magic after some 40-45 minutes.

This is the filler Jason (the aesthetician) used to fill my scar.

There are many types of fillers in the market. Some are softer and some are harder. Types of injectable fillers include:

This is one of those good quality fillers that's why it is not cheap! When it comes to injecting substances into my body/skin, I want the best for myself, even it means I will have to spend my entire savings lolz. I have heard stories from friends saying that the fillers used on them didn't cost them a lot so they ended up spending even more cash on touching up. Another reason is that, I don't want to end up having zombie skin after everything loses their effect.

 

 

Ice was applied on my scar before the injection.

 

The mark on my left cheek was a burned mark of CO2 laser. I saw my face smoking while the laser contacted my skin! The pain were still bearable. It felt like your skin is being stung by needles but with anesthetics it felt a lot less painful than that.

 

I wanted the filler injections to end as soon as possible because needles are just too SCARY! Thank God the session only takes a while and hence...

 

 

I was AMAZED by what I saw in the mirror.

Scar was flatened!

 

I am pretty aware that fillers don't last forever. As long as I am looking at my best for this once in my lifetime. I will die without regret. Anyway, the filled area feels just as soft as the rest of my skin!

Don't get me wrong. I am not an aesthetic addict. It was and is never in my mind that I will continue with these unless I can no longer live without adding these substances into my skin. One only live young and pretty once in their lifetime so I wanted to live my youth to the fullest without overly abusing it. The desire for being beautiful is not a sin but still, substances ie. what you have in your brains and how you carry yourself determine how long your beauty lasts in the eyes of others.

 

How have you spent your xmas? I have had a good dinner at Iketeru, Hilton KL. They serve better Wagyu beef than Jake's!
